Acknowledgement
As a Mununjali woman, living and working on Mununjali Country, I pay my deepest respects to our Elders past, present, and emerging. I honour the Traditional Owners of the land on which we meet: the Mununjali People.
We come together as one on this beautiful Country, walking in the footsteps of our Ancestors.
Our people have always been incredible storytellers, artists, musicians, and entertainers. Through our crafts, we continue to share our stories keeping our culture strong and our spirit alive.
Always was, always will be... Aboriginal land.
Gaureima- Story
Every Artwork Tells a Story
For me, storytelling comes to life through contemporary Indigenous art — brought to life with vibrant colours, intricate dots, meaningful symbols, and flowing patterns.
Painting has become my passion and my voice. It's how I share the stories that matter most to me: family, Country, water, and the sky.
While I love the freedom of creating from the heart, I also find joy in making art that carries a personal meaning for others. If you’d like a custom piece that tells your story, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create something special together.
Cultural Education
Sharing Culture Through Art & Education
Indigenous art is one of my greatest passions — along with teaching and sharing knowledge with our Jarjums (children).
I feel truly blessed to work alongside educators, offering first hand experiences of Aboriginal art and culture in meaningful and engaging ways. Culture is a journey — one that invites us to learn with and from each other. Every time I work with jarjums, I’m amazed by how much they already know and how eager they are to learn more.
Together, we can help nurture that curiosity and respect for culture through hands-on learning experiences.
Workshop Sessions Include:
- 🖌️ Small Group Painting Activities
- 🫓 Making Traditional Damper
- 🌿 Bush Tukka Tastings
- 🗣️ Introduction to Yugambeh Language
Let’s work together to create powerful learning moments that connect children to culture, Country, and community.

Our Language Group
Keeping Language Alive Through Culture & Connection
As you look through our website, browse our social media, and check out the names of our products, you’ll notice we proudly use traditional language throughout. These words aren’t just labels they’re part of our identity and a powerful way to share and preserve our culture.
We speak in the Yugambeh dialect, the language of our tribe the Mununjali People. We are one of many clan groups connected by this language, and using it every day helps us stay grounded in who we are and where we come from.
Generations before us were restricted in what they could teach, share, and practice. Today, our culture is thriving and our jarjums (children) are lucky to grow up surrounded by strong Indigenous voices who lead, inspire, and encourage them to stand proud in their identity, culture, and connection to Country.
Language is not just spoken it’s lived, shared, and celebrated.
